Current Social Work

Yardi, with 45 offices worldwide, has its largest branch in Pune, India—a city deeply connected to the company’s roots through its founder, Anant Yardi. Pune, a metropolitan hub of over seven million people, faces significant challenges, with nearly 40% of its residents living in slums, locally known as vastis.

Recognizing this need, Yardi’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) unit in Pune launched the Yardi Vasti Vikas Prakalp (YVVP) in 2014, translating to the "Yardi Urban Community Development Program." This initiative drives impactful change by supporting six core programs aimed at reducing hardships and increasing opportunities for vasti residents. The six core programs are: Sanitation & Solid Waste Management, Health, Education, Livelihood, Youth Empowerment, and Community Mobilization. In addition to its programs, YVVP collaborates with numerous Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to further its mission.

Stay tuned!
